Milestones for Aulli's Babies

Aulli and her babies are doing very well. Aulli has been an exceptional mom so far and I'm so pleased with her mothering skills. The babies are now a week and a day old. They are moving around more and they are beginning to open their eyes. In about 3-5 days their eyes should be fully open. They are gorgeous and are starting to develop nice blocky heads. I'll keep you posted on their progress!

Glad to hear she's being a good mom! Can't wait to see pics! Until we do, can you tell us what basic coloring they are?

Hey Brian! Thanks for swinging by and leaving a comment :-) Aulli has a majority of brindle babies in her litter - brindle like Boomer and Roscoe. Most of them are females and they are really starting to get cute! Momma's milk is filling their little bellies out and helping them grow quickly. They have their eyes completely open now and they are trying to learn to walk. I'll post an update on them soon and may even post pictures.
The babies are now two weeks old. All eight of them have their eyes open and they are growing by leaps and bounds. They have started trying to get up on all four and they toddle around quite well - accompanied by a lot of growling and attempts to play with one another. Aulli is doing an excellent job taking care of their every need and is such a loving momma. I have posted pictures in the Nursery of all eight of them - the pictures were taken yesterday, January 20th, 2011. I will re-take their pictures at four weeks. See you for another update soon!
They are the cutest little things! You - well, Boomer and his gals - create such cute Boxers! Can't wait to see more pics. And eight - that's pretty good testatment to have all doing so well. And those two all-white pups are so special.

Brian - I'm glad you enjoyed looking at the pictures of the new babies. We don't have white ones very often so they are neat to have. Thanks for coming by and posting :-) It's so nice to see responses to my updates. You can look for updated pictures in about two weeks. The babies have a lot of growing and changing to do over the weeks to come and I'm excited to share their growth and accomplishments with others. Hugs to you and Roscoe. The babies are gorgeous! Oh how I wish we could have a dog where we live, but the landlady won't allow it due to past negative experiences. We lost our boxer in '06 and his mate later the same year. They were both the best companions and never failed to bring me smiles and happiness. Until I am able to have a boxer of my own I will have to vicariously have one through looking and enjoying others. Good luck with all your new babies!
